Agreement and eligibility

These Player Terms govern your use of the FootyZone website, iOS app, player account, and online services. FootyZone is operated by Metin Jakup. By creating an account or using an account-backed feature, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

FootyZone accounts are for players aged 13 and over. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you must have that permission before creating an account.

What FootyZone is

FootyZone is a football-knowledge game with solo grids, Daily challenges, collections, practice, friends, ranked play, and online matches. Some modes work without an account; synchronized, social, and online features require one.

The app is free in version 1.0 and contains no in-app purchases or third-party advertising. Future paid or sponsored features, if introduced, will be clearly identified and governed by any additional terms shown before purchase or use.

Your account

• Use a player name or nickname rather than your full legal name.
• If you add an optional email address, use one you can access.
• Keep your password and sign-in token private.
• Sign out of shared devices and revoke sessions you do not recognise.
• Provide accurate information and do not impersonate another person or organisation.

You are responsible for activity through your account unless you promptly tell us it has been compromised. Contact support@footyzone.app if you lose control of it.

Fair play and player safety

Do not cheat, automate answers or actions, manipulate ratings or rewards, disrupt matches, exploit bugs, probe the service for unauthorised access, evade a suspension, or interfere with another player’s experience.

Do not use a player name or any FootyZone feature to bully, threaten, harass, deceive, discriminate against, or expose private information about another person. Do not upload or submit unlawful, infringing, sexually explicit, hateful, or dangerous content.

You can block another player in the app. Report concerning player names, behaviour, clues, or answers to support@footyzone.app. We may investigate, remove content, restrict features, suspend an account, or close an account when needed to protect players, the service, or the integrity of competition.

Questions and football information

We work to keep player careers, clubs, nations, clues, and answers accurate. Football records can be incomplete, disputed, or corrected, and the rules of a particular grid may depend on the dataset described in the game.

You can report a questionable clue or answer. We may correct content, invalidate an affected result, or adjust a score when a technical or editorial error materially changes a match.

FootyZone’s software, interface, original artwork, writing, and brand elements belong to their respective owners and are protected by applicable law. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership to you.

XP, coins, ratings, and items

Virtual coins, XP, ratings, badges, cosmetics, and other rewards are limited licences to use game features. They cannot be sold, withdrawn, transferred for money, or exchanged for anything outside FootyZone.

We may correct balances or results created by an error, exploit, duplicated reward, or prohibited conduct. Reward values, progression, divisions, and matchmaking rules may change as the game develops.

Availability and responsibility

We may update, pause, limit, or discontinue a feature for maintenance, security, legal, editorial, or product reasons. We aim to keep FootyZone available and reliable, but do not promise that every feature will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

FootyZone is provided for personal entertainment. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses caused by using or being unable to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. If a concern arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it.

Leaving FootyZone

You can download a JSON copy of account data held by the server and permanently delete your account from the Profile screen. Account deletion removes linked server records and signs you out. Device-only progress may remain until you clear the app or browser data.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact support.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when FootyZone features, business practices, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published at this address. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on the website when appropriate.
